This package deal is a perfect introduction to Klonoa, because many people, myself included, never played the originals as a kid, so this is the perfect chance to finally play this game, as well as save this series from obscurity. I was thinking I wouldn't have found myself liking that aspect as much, compared to Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, but here I am, praising it. I often found myself comparing each game to their originals, and I am pleasantly surprised at how faithful each game to the original. Not only that, but there are different paths which rotates the camera, changing the background/foreground into the field of play. It is a dynamic side-scroller, where you can only move left and right like a regular side-scroller, but the background and foreground can have items, like the Dreamers or the Ngapoko Eggs, in which you have to throw an enemy into the background or foreground. It's a simple platformer revolving around grabbing enemies and you can either throw them or use them as a double jump.
